Monitor your heart rate
to optimise your workout
As society becomes more health-conscious, more people are turning to
exercise to stay t. Exercising at the right intensity is vital to staying healthy
and achieving your individual tness goals. For optimal training, and to avoid
injury from pushing yourself too hard, all you need is a heart rate monitor.
Exercise is directly related to your heart rate
Heart rate is a useful indicator of the intensity of an exercise. In order to achieve

How to calculate your desired heart rate level
Find out your resting heart rate.
Simply take your pulse or use your Oregon Scientic heart rate
monitor in the morning after you wake up and before you get out
of bed.
Calculate the maximum predicted heart rate. Ideally,
220 – your age = the maximum predicted heart rate.
